BellHawk Industrial Warehouse Management System (WMS) Capabilities
With the optional Warehouse Management System modules BellHawk adds the
following capabilities to its inventory, asset, container, and other
materials tracking software:
- Ability to enter or import purchase orders, including the ability to
receive materials against those purchase orders, and to export the
receipts back to an accounting or ERP system.
- One-scan receipt of containers against Advanced Shipment Notices.
- Record the put-away of the materials in multiple locations.
- Ability to enter or import customer ship orders, including ability
to record shipments against those sjip orders and to export shipments to
an ERP or accounting system.
- Ability to create make-to-order work-orders based on ship order line
items.
- Ability to pick materials for work orders, for move tickets, and for
ship orders.
- Fetching materials to production operation, including kit picking.
- Returning of materials to stock from production or shipments.
- Ability to record the packing of materials ready for shipment and
generate packing slips.
- Ability to record materials as they are staged and loaded onto
trucks, including ability to generate bills of lading.
- Ability to generate Advanced Shipment Notices for sending by EDI or
other means.
- Ability to do cycle counting and inventory auditing.
These capabilities are available as part of separate optional modules or
they can all be purchased as part of the BellHawk Warehouse Management
Systems (WMS) bundle.

- Inventory status can be viewed in real-time over Internet using mobile phones.
- Prints barcode labels on demand in customer specified formats.
- Tracks operations at multiple geographically distributed warehouses and stock rooms.
- Interfaces available for automated data exchange with ERP, accounting, and E-Commerce systems.
- Interfaces available for supply chain integration, including
preparing Advanced Shipment Notice data by for transmission by EDI.

BellHawk WMS Tracks Inventory by
- Nested container, location, facility, yard, customer site, in-transit, and in service trucks.
- Supplier, Make, Model, Physical Origin, and Lot number as well as serial numbers on equipment.
- Who owns the Inventory: Customers, Vendors, US Government, or organization running the
Warehouse.
- Project that this inventory was purchased for to avoid mixing and misuse of project materials.
- Age and Expiration date plus quality control status: waiting, passed, failed inspection, needs material review.
- User defined attributes such as width, length, color, hardness, and
heat number.
- Hazardous materials category as well as special storage requirements: freezer, refrigerator, secure locations.
