The mission of Smart Operations Management (SmartOpsMgt) LLC is to assist manufacturers, distributors, and other industrial organizations survive and thrive in our hypercompetitive world by using Smart Operations Management (SOM) technology to run their operations more efficiently with fewer people, greater profitability, and happier customers, managers and employees.

The role of SmartOpsMgt in this is to:

1. Act as licensing agent to third party systems-integrators for the WIPtracker line of real-time intelligent IOT based operations tracking and process-flow management systems, as well as to provide technical support and training for this software.
2. Disseminate papers, books, and videos about smart operations tracking and management systems and their application in manufacturing, distribution and other industrial applications.

Smart operations management systems are an evolution from manual operations tracking and process flow management methods, through ERP systems, to using a variety of AI methods to automate the tracking and management of manufacturing and distribution operations.

A primary purpose of these Smart Operations Management (SOM) systems is to eliminate “Intelligent Grunt Work” tasks which are currently performed by operations managers and their staff.
