Dr. Peter Green and teams that he has led as technical director have spent the past 25 years and several million dollars developing and successfully applying AI based software to real-time data collection and operations flow management in manufacturing, distribution, and other industrial applications. This software suite is called SmartOps24x7 to reflect the fact that it is designed to operate 24x7 in an industrial environment.
This software is sold directly to end customers by KnarrTek Inc. which has successfully completed over 100 installations in small and mid-sized industrial organizations over the past decade . KnarrTek sells complete turnkey solutions including software, services and needed barcode scanning and RFID equipment. While KnarrTek is a successful profitable small company, we find that its growth is limited by the substantial amount of support services needed for the implementation of each system, with KnarrTek completing about 4 major projects a year.
In the USA, there we have identified about 90,000 small and mid-sized manufacturing plants and industrial distributors that could benefit from using the SmartOps24x7 software. As such, rather than trying to replicate the success of KnarrTek by opening more offices in different regions, we have decided to license reseller partners, through SmartOpsMgt LLC. These reseller partners can benefit from selling more of their services, reselling licenses to SmartOps24x7 and providing complete operations tracking and management solutions to their clients.
There is no cost to being a SmartOpsMgt reseller partner. SmartOps24x7 follows Open Architecture principles, which enables these partners to make most needed customizations for most applications. Sometimes, however, changes need to be made that are beyond the scope of Open Architecture. To resolve this issue, SmartOpsMgt is also providing source-code customization services, which can be purchased for resale at a discount by reseller partners.
